Faith Comes Through Hearing

Sunday, March 29, 6:00pm-7:00pm

Join us as we simply listen to God’s Word through the reading of the Bible aloud. Use this time to simply listen, to pray, as a devotional study, or whatever works for you, since we believe that…

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
— Romans 10:17 (NIV)

The Ascent: An Evening of Worship, Scripture, & Prayer

Join Us for "The Ascent": An Evening of Worship, Scripture, & Prayer

Are you longing for a moment to step away from the noise of the week and focus purely on the presence of God? Join us for The Ascent, a special gathering to help us worship and deepen our walk with Him.

This will be an evening dedicated to climbing higher in our devotion through passionate singing, hearing the Word of God read aloud by multiple voices in our community, and dedicated times of guided corporate prayer. It’s more than a service—it's a journey upward together.

To allow our community to gather in fellowship beforehand, we will begin the evening with a free pizza dinner.

Event Details:

  • When: April 19

  • Time: 4:30 PM

Important RSVP Information:

Please note: No childcare is provided for this evening gathering.

We look forward to ascending together!

Compassion Month 2025!

Here at The Orchard we dedicate each October to the focus on reaching people and making an impact on the world around us, we call it Compassion Month.

In 2025 we are partnering alongside Christian Outreach At Syracuse University in the mission of empowering followers of Jesus to go out from Syracuse throughout our country and the world to bring the Good News!

The Christian Outreach at Syracuse University serve the University and represent students, staff and faculty who identify with the Christian faith.

Through the Christian Staff & Faculty Association ministry, nominations for Department Appreciation Gifts are asked for each semester. This allows University employees to bless their campus by acknowledging the hard work and care of their colleagues. The gifts take the form of a themed gift basket that has the right quantities for any particular department that gets nominated. (Different departmens have different numbers of people involved.)

The following is a list of the items that we are working to collect to help the Outreach, just bring them in on Sunday mornings throughout the month of October!
