Join us at 10am on July 23 at Oneida Shores County Park for a Baptism Celebration! Come for the celebration, stay for the lunch! Grilled hot dogs & hamburgers provided. Bring a dish to share if you’d like to along with your own drinks. We can’t wait to see you! Compassion Month 2022

This October marks the 9th year we have set aside an entire month and dedicated it to serving ministries in our community and around the world. Through your generosity we have been able to make a significant impact in changing lives for Jesus. What a joy to be a part of such a caring and generous church family.

This month we have the privilege of partnering with two organizations that are helping those affected by food scarcity. Locally we are teaming up with Erin’s Angels. Through a backpack program in the Phoenix Central School system they have been able to help children take food home and subsequently feed themselves and their families. We have been asked to help provide shelf-stable, protein-packed meals. Specifically we have been asked to provide Starkist Lunch to Go or Bumblebee Snack on the Run packages. This type of product is a ready to go meal and fits nicely into a backpack. Please bring them to our gathering on Sundays throughout the month of October.

We will also be partnering with Compassion International. This ministry is the standard in caring for, educating and transforming lives of children all over the world. They are currently caring for 2.2 million children in 25 countries. In addition, they are addressing the global food crisis that is impacting millions of people, and children are the most vulnerable. Right now, one in five children worldwide are chronically malnourished. That means that one in five children wonder if and when they will eat again. On Sunday October 30th, we will be receiving our morning offering and give 100% to Compassion International. Keep in mind that for just $50 you could provide 1 family (5 people) with a one month supply of essentials like rice, eggs, meat, milk and corn. So be generous and care for the least of these just as Jesus has commanded us.

I am excited to see how God provides through our generosity this month.
